Spacious double room with ample space to move around. The double glazing really did the trick, blocking out all the noise from the nearby roads, offering a surprisingly restful night.
The lack of disabled access family rooms was a real pain point. Had to shuffle rooms around unexpectedly, leading to some wasted space and increased costs. Plus, breakfast on the second morning fell flat with undercooked poached eggs and a rush that left me wanting more from the meal experience.

Oh mate, the breakfast spread was nothing short of epic! Fresh local ingredients and a menu that’s got your full English fix and then some. Plus, the staff were super welcoming, making every meal a delight!
On the flip side, the pub lights out at 9:30, which was a bummer for our crew wanting a late-night pint. And let’s not ignore that the bathroom fan sounded like it was auditioning for a rock band.

Clean and spacious twin room with comfortable beds, perfect for our stay during the university open day. The special insulated milk churn for fresh drinks was a delightful touch. Free parking was a bonus, though the room overlooked the car park with some noise from the nearby road. Did not dine at the hotel, but breakfast options were flexible and appealing.

Recommend it for families with children
The family room we stayed in was bigger than I expected, beds were super comfortable, and they even provided separate beds for the kids instead of a sofa bed – huge relief. The breakfast was just perfect too, plenty of options, and the waitress didn’t hesitate to keep bringing us more whenever we needed it!
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, I suppose.
